Tim Hood - Hood Contracting

Born and grew up in Kaipara Flats and moved to Whangarei in 2012.

I have 3 girls, two youngest are twins one living in Australia and the other on her OE in Europe. My oldest is teaching at Morningside School. My Partner Lynda has 2 boys, the elder is into mechanical engineering in Auckland and the younger is doing his refrigeration engineering apprenticeship. They call us the Brady Bunch.

I have always had an interest in Motorsport and have been lucky to be able to participate over the years in speedway and now in rallying.

I have also had a passion for property development and enjoy weekends around our property undertaking all kinds of projects.

I love living in Whangarei the north and feel we are lucky to live in area that offers so much.
